The Triton Regional School District allows parents or guardians to register a student that is new to the district through our student information system, Aspen.
The online registration process is open throughout the year.
Note: For new PreSchool or Kindergarten families, information regarding online registration will be provided by Triton's Early Childhood Coordinator in the Spring prior to the new school year.
Once the online registration process is complete, the front office of the school where the registration was submitted will review the registration for approval and reach out for next steps and/or to request missing information.
Registration Checklist:
To prepare for the registration process, please gather the necessary documents and paperwork outlined below. Please note that some of the documentation will be uploaded to Aspen during the online registration process, while certain documentation needs to be brought into a school as an original copy.
To register with Triton Regional School District, the following documentation is required:
- Proof of Age (original Birth Certificate or Passport); - Uploaded in Online Registration
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID: Driver's license or passport. Bring to appointment
- Proof of Immunization (Medical/Health Record) - Uploaded in Online Registration
- TRSD Registration and Residency Affidavit;
- Proof of Residency/Occupancy (see Proof of Residency/Occupancy Required for Registration below); - Original Paper Copies brought into a school after online registration
- Previous Grades (HS Only): Transcripts or report cards. (Crucial for drafting your student's schedule!) For incoming freshmen, we need proof of grade 8 completion. Please note: Official grade-level placement is determined strictly by the number of high school credits your student has previously earned. Your student's grade level and graduation year may be adjusted after our team completes a formal transcript review.
- IEP or 504 Plans: If your student receives special education or accommodations, please upload these early so our support team can review them before you arrive. Please note that our Special Education Department may need to review your student's IEP before we can officially schedule your intake appointment.
- Joint Physical Custody (if applicable) – in cases of divorce, physical and legal custody agreements must be presented to \the school District. - Uploaded in Online Registration, bring physical copy to appt.
NOTE: Students will not be able to register without the documents outlined above. Enrollment can only be completed when records have been provided prior to the appointment or received in advance from the previous school.

Documents to verify residency cannot be uploaded during the online registration process. Proof of Residency= A recent utility bill, tax bill, or mortgage statement in your name.
